Internet Phone Service & VoIP Reviewed
Internet phone service, or VoIP, is quickly becoming a household item - even for business.
No wonder - with the amount of money you can save, the ease of set-up, high-quality sound and reliability, there's
no reason not to make the switch to VoIP phone service.
Before I switched to Skype internet phone service, I had to deal
with monthly local fees, long distance charges, set up and change fees on my phone account and other frustrating
charges. Now, I use a cordless VoIP phone (which looks and sounds just like a regular phone) to make an receive
unlimited calls in the USA and Canada. Sign up Free Here
I don't have to worry about running over on my minutes. I get voicemail included, caller ID and have a
speaker phone option - just a like a regular telephone - and I can even use my VoIP phone
when my computer is off - all this for about $60 a year!
Here's the low-down on Skype Internet Phone
Service :
- Skype Out and Skype Calling Plan - allows customers to call landlines and cellphones around
the world at local rates. This is their best-selling product.
- SkypePro - a subscription to some of their best products in one easy package. Customers can
call phones for free (minimal connection fee applies) and make cheap international calls from their
cellphone. They also receive 50% off SkypeIn, free voicemail and a free Skype To Go number as well as
discounts on hardware purchases.
- SkypeIn - customers receive a Skype phone number which other people can call from any phone
worldwide. The package also includes free voicemail.
- Skype Voicemail - never miss another message. Customers can set up voicemail so their
contacts can leave messages when they are offline, unavailable or on another call.
Not only do I use Skype at home, I use Skype for business. ( get Skype for Small Business pack here
) It has saved me a ton of money, and I get all the
features I would with a regular phone service - but I avoid paying all those high rates. I highly
recommend internet phone service, specifically Skype, because they've got great sound quality, reliability and
telephone features - and they're the cheapest! You don't even have to sign a long-term contract if you simply
just want to try out internet phone service for a short time.
If you want to buy an internet phone, there are also several cool phones to choose from that don't cost a
fortune. (You may even want to switch to VoIP phone service just so you can use the phone!) However, you can use a
cheap headset too - like I did when I first started using Skype. Skype set up only takes a few minutes, and no
software is required.
And if you want to go super cheap - no special phone, no voicemail, etc - you can literally make phone calls worldwide for FREE
using Skype-to-Skype and never pay a cent.
